Back to Black
There’s something about these old photos of New York that continually draws me back. To me it is interesting to see how much the city has changed and of course, how it hasn’t. Indeed, black and white photography doesn’t attract with its play of colors. Instead, it’s composition, lighting, perspective and the context it is shot in are important. This post presents a modest attempt at experimenting with black and white.
